Historical Outline and Overview: Carriages Etc. (CE) was incorporated in the State of Texas in 1969. CE was organized as a horse-drawn carriage company in Galveston, Texas. In 1988, operations were established in Houston. Mr. Parker started with one carriage and presently has over a dozen carriages, two sleighs and several antique carriages and wagonettes; along with an abundance of horses in various special breeds, accustomed to the horse-drawn carriage industry. CE's headquarters are located on a beautiful ranch in Waller, Texas. CE will be building out a new state-of-the-art facility that will enable future growth and expansion into other corporate and private sectors. CE services the entire Houston/Gulf Coast area and will be working to saturate and already CE dominated demographic area. CE was born from the wealth of experience of Mr. Sam Parker who has been training horses since 1969. Over the years, CE has developed entertainment capabilities in the creation, production, administration and acquisition of horse-drawn carriage business, the amusement business and the US Hotrod Association, while working with the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, Epic Entertainment, Pace Motor Sports, CPC, J&W Productions, the City of Houston, Mayor's Office and the Parks Department, Channel 13 (KTRK), Channel 2 (KPRC), Stewart Title, Fiesta Mart, BP Amoco and Events Inc. (to name name a few). Through proactive attendance and involvement at international events, Mr. Parker has accumulated a vast number of customers from Texas to the rest of the United States and Mexico. Mr. Parker offers a wide range of services for any kind of event. Horse-drawn carriages are the main service provided by CE. But with the entertainment pieces (games, inflatables, petting zoos, pony rides, etc.), CE holds the leading market position for the Houston/Gulf Coast area.
